Globinar 5: is a decolonised methodology possible?

Calls are increasingly becoming louder to decolonise archaeology and yet not much seems to change in practice. Do archaeological field methods alienate communities and indigenous groups from their past. What might be done to make archaeological fieldwork resonate with concerns and aspirations of host communities? Is decolonisation of fieldwork even possible? This panel will confront these questions to throw insights on fieldwork practices in African and diasporic archaeology.
